In this lecture Jessica Colaço discusses the concept of open innovation, in which internal and external ideas and internal and external paths to the market are combined in order to advance the development of new technologies. Jessica Colaço is researcher at Strathmore Research and Consultancy Centre (SRCC) and holds a degree in Computer Science. She is founder of Mobile Boot Camp Kenya and Co-founder of AkiraChix and WMIAfrica. Business Daily recently named her one of the top 40 women under 40 inKenya for her achievements.
