Themes of Worldconnectors
Each year the Worldconnectors focus their attention on four themes related to international sustainability issues and global citizenship. The choice of themes is motivated by the conviction that the Worldconnectors’ multi-stakeholder approach can provide an important extra contribution. The chosen issues therefore reflect the ability of the Worldconnectors to approach the themes from different angles, according to their different backgrounds and areas of expertise.
The themes are discussed by the special Worldconnectors Working Groups, which often include external specialists amongst their numbers. The aim of the Working Groups is to catalogue the possible intervention methods that can be used to influence specific debates and agendas as well as to drive viable innitiatives. The possible intervention methods are drawn up in multiple coperation and consultation forms.
