Anne van Steenoven is Supply Chain Developer at Fairmatch Support. Fairmatch Support develops sustainable market chains and supports businesses in searching new resources and producers in finding new markets.

Professional background
Anne studied for a bachelor in International Development Studies in Wageningen, for which she did an internship with UN organisations in Rome and with Oxfam Novib on the Lobby and Advocacy department. For her Masters she specialized in sustainable food chains, which involved a half year of doing research in Indonesia about how small farmers are included in the production of palm oil. For the past two years Anne has worked with The Sustainable Trade Initiative, where she worked on the spices and tropical timber program together with the private sector, setting up projects to enhance the sustainability of their production in developing countries.
